Men’s Soccer Offense Finds Form Against MSU Denver

On a day where the offense was clicking, UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer scored twice on 12 shots Sunday against Metro State Denver.
 
Sergio Gonzalez got the scoring started for the Falcons just 21 minutes into the match to tie it at one. Seven minutes into the second half, the Falcons captured the lead on a Gustavo Barroso goal to go up 2-1. The Falcons went down a man in the 73rd minute and allowed two late goals and fell to the Roadrunners 3-2.
 
Gustavo Barroso, Rodrigo Rogatto, Salvador Vargas Ramos, and Victor Machado each had two shots on goal. Vargas Ramos had a pair of assists giving him three on the season.  Kristian Hovind made five saves in the match.
