Thursday night's UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer home opener got physical, as the Falcons and Northwest Nazarene combined for 30 fouls and three cards. The Falcons drew 17 fouls and fired seven shots on goal in the effort.
The first half was locked in a scoreless tie heading into the locker room. The Nighthawks scored early in the second half and added to the lead late in the half after the Falcons went down to 10 men on a red card for a 3-0 final.
Gustavo Barroso had three shots on goal to lead the Falcons and
Alfonso Aragon saved five shots.
