6/22/2021 12:01:00 PM

After a strong spring on the field, UT Permian Basin Athletics had a strong spring in the classroom with 156 student-athletes earning a spot on the Lone Star Commissioners Honor Roll.  Out of 19 institutions, the Falcons had the fourth most honorees in the league.

The Falcons had 49 student-athletes finish with a 4.0 GPA for the spring, up two from the fall.  The 156 honorees are the second most Falcons on the honor roll since the Falcons joined the conference in 2016.  In the 2020-21 academic year the Falcons had 328 student-athletes on the honor roll.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes and athletic training students qualifying based on grade point average for the current semester.  To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
