Box Score Jay DeSoto continues to improve on his great season for the Falcons. After his three hit game against UA Fort Smith he is now hitting .338 on the year with 26 RBI.

The Falcons scattered seven hits throughout the game and could not get a couple in a row to get some runs across the plate until the fifth inning. DeSoto doubled to center field scoring Michael Clapperton for the lone run of the ballgame for the Falcons as they dropped the opening game 9-1.

Jay DeSoto had three hits for the Falcons as he also walked and had an RBI.

Trever Berg got the start on the mound for the Falcons pitching in four innings giving up two earned runs and striking out two Lions. Caleb Vuono struck out two Lions in his lone inning of work from the bullpen.
