Offense Explodes for 3 Goals as Falcons Cruise in Second Half

UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer showed its potential and offensive creativity on Sunday as they cruised to a 3-1 win over the University of the Southwest.  Victor Radilla had a breakout game, scoring his first career goal and picking up an assist.

The Falcons got on the scoreboard first when Radilla's corner kick connected with Henrique Desouza in the 18th minute for the 1-0 lead.  Just four minutes later Radilla found the back of the net himself and the Falcons were in control 2-0.  The Falcons scored again in the second half when Kasper Wallstroem headed in Ollie Grundy's throw-in for their third goal of the day.

Both teams combined for 28 shots in the fast-paced contest.  Jerry Bohi and Kristian Hovind split time in net with each recording four saves.  The Mustangs only goal came on a penalty kick in the first half after a hand ball in the box.

The Falcons hit the road Tuesday as they'll face Dallas Baptist in a Lone Star Conference contest.  Download the UTPB Athletics App today to stay up to date on all your favorite Falcon teams.
