UT Permian Basin Softball team faced #24 Angelo State in a double-header in San Angelo, TX.
The Falcons could not get much going offensively in Game one as
Choco Munoz was the only Falcon to get a base hit. The Falcons biggest chance in the game came in the fourth inning.
Aracely Araiza reached base and stole second to get in scoring position, but the Falcons could not bring her home as they lost 8-0.
Game two the Falcons saw more chances to score. In the second
Choco Munoz reached third on a miscue by Angelo State. Â In the third
April Arellano hit a double to left center with two outs but could not be brought around to score. In the fourth
Ashlynn Bradley singled to left and
Abby Hernandez walked. The Falcons had their chances but could not cash in as the fell 8-0 in Game two.
