Alfonso Aragon made 10 saves Saturday night, and UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer needed all 10 as they worked to a 1-1 draw as the Falcons hosted UT Tyler in their home opener.
The Falcon offense started the scoring as they found the back of the net in the 25
th minute of the game off the boot of
Alejandro Pinzon. Pinzon found the ball after a pass from a corner the bounced in front of the net. Aragon stayed strong, not allowing anything heading into the second half. Out of the break the Patriots scored right away in the 48
th minute to tie the game. Aragon made several dazzling saves in net to keep the score close including three in overtime to keep the score tied.
