The Falcons

• The Falcons have gotten used to close games already in 2021-22. Five of their eight games have been decided by 10 points or less, and two have come down to a one possession difference. 
• Through their first eight games the Falcons forced 187 turnovers or 23.4 per game.  This is the most per game under Head Coach Rae Boothe since the team averaged 21.8 back in 2017-18, her first season in the Permian Basin. 
• On Saturday, Wykoff led the Falcons with 14 points against Texas A&M International. Holly Hemmeline finished with 13 as they were the two Falcons who reached double digits in scoring. Munoz led the Falcons with seven steals.
• Quaadman is fourth in the Lone Star Conference in offensive rebounds with 25 on the season. She also has seven blocked shots, which is tied for ninth in the conference. Munoz is right behind Quaadman in seventh place with 20 offensive rebounds on the year. She is also fifth in assists with 29 and tied for first in steals per game with a 2.8 mark. Wykoff is tenth in the conference with a .810 free throw percentage.
• This is the 20th meeting all-time between the teams.  The Falcons and Hilltoppers split their series last year in Austin, TX each taking a game. This will be the team's first meeting in the Falcon Dome since the 2017-18 season.

The Hilltoppers

• The Hilltoppers are coming off of a three-game week where they played Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. They went 2-1 defeating Division III opponents Schreiner 94-48 and Southwestern 88-38 at home. They then played an exhibition at Division I TAMU - Corpus Christi where they lost 92-40.
• In games against Division II opponents they are 1-2 on the year losing to Regis 62-57 and No. 23 Colorado School of Mines 65-52. Their win was against Saint Leo 69-63.
• The Hilltoppers have struggled from the three-point line going 34-124 (.274 percentage).
