The Falcons

• Jordan Horn continues to fill the stat sheet and bumped his scoring average up to 17.2 points per game.  Miles Daniels and DaJuan Jones also eclipse the double digit line as they have 13.4 and 13.0 points per game respectfully.
• Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history.  Through eight games the senior has 75 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  He has three games with double digit assists including 12 against Western Washington and St. Edwards.
• Jones currently sits first in the country in assists per game with 8.3.
• This season the Falcons have buckled down defensively, allowing just 67.0 points per game.  That's the lowest total since the 2011-12 season when they allowed 63.4 per game.  The last time the Falcons allowed less than 70 points per game was the 2012-13 season in which they gave up 68.9 points per game.
• On Saturday, the Falcons picked up a convincing 76-68 win over the St. Mary's Rattlers. Horn led the Falcons with 18 points while Jones was one assist away from having his fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and nine assists. Jones also earned Lone Star Conference Player of the Week honors.
• The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. Six of the nine games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
• The Falcons boast the second best turnover margin in the LSC at +5.78.  The Falcons have forced 151 turnovers this season while only committing 99.
• This will be the second meeting all-time between the Falcons and the Saints.  The Falcons won that game 111-78 back in 2013.  This is the first time the Saints have visited the Falcons.

The Saints

• The Saints won their last game on December 4 against Barclay 90-69. The Saints other win came against Ozark Christian College 99-69.
• The team has a -2.4 rebound margin per game, but they keep things close with a -2.3 turnover margin.
• They give up 87.0 points per game while allowing a .466 field goal percentage to their opponents.
