Scouting the Pioneers
 
The Pioneers are 8-16, 3-10 on the season, losers of three straight and only taken two sets in those matches. The Pioneers last Lone Star Conference win came against Midwestern State in five sets on October 2. The Falcons swept the Mustangs in the Falcon Dome earlier in the year. 
 
The Pioneers are powered offensively by Trixie Oche who leads the team with 148 kills. Bailey Wozniak leads them with 340 assists, she also leads the team in service aces with 30.
 
On the defensive side Sydney Stroh leads the Pioneers with 287 digs and Oche guards the net with 68 blocks. 
 
Your Falcons
 
The Falcons are winners of four of their last six matches. They had their set winning streak snapped at home this past weekend. The Falcon defense remains on fire as they forced 22 errors from No. 6 Angelo State and held them to a .198 hitting percentage. The team is looking to secure a bye and be one of the top four teams in the conference when they head to the playoffs in a couple of weeks.
 
The Falcons last week were led by Chandra Reed who was big at the net for the Falcons. She led the team with nine blocks and added 13 kills from both matches. Analise Lucio led with 77 assists as she collected her 13th double-double of the year. Daylee Doggett made 42 digs and Erika Lozano led with four service aces. Aquincia Strambler continued her monster year adding 27 kills.  
 
Falcon Rankings in the Lone Star Conference
 
Lucio is ranked third in assists with 669. Strambler has the fourth most kills with 263. Doggett now leads the conference in digs with 364 on the season.
