Box Score Mike Nweke scored a big goal for UT Permian Basin against No. 6 Midwestern State on Wednesday. The senior scored his third of the season and now has the second most goals on the year for the Falcons.
 
In the first half the Falcons couldn't do much on the offensive side of the ball as they had a couple of opportunities but couldn't cash in as the Mustangs held a 2-0 lead at the half.
 
In the second half the offense got going. The Falcons took 11 shots in the including Nweke's goal off a corner kick from Matias Pereira. Six different Falcons took shots, and four of those six had a shot on goal, but it wasn't enough as the Mustangs took the 5-1 victory.
 
Gustavo Barroso led the Falcons with four shots while Felipe Souza was right behind him with three. Rodrigo Rogatto and Nweke had two shots each. Alfonso Aragon made six saves in net.
