Scouting the Chaps
 
The Lady Chaps are 15-6, 10-2 on the season and lead the Falcons by a half a game in the conference standings. The Lady Chaps are coming off win over Western New Mexico in three sets on Thursday and have won three matches in a row. They have two losses that are from non-ranked opponents this year and they hold an 8-1 road record.
 
The Lady Chaps are powered offensively by Hannah Froeschl who leads the team with 188 kills. Jalee Sims leads the Lady Chaps with 626 assists and is second in the conference in that category. Kendall Mahaney and Chole Menard lead the team in service aces with 15 each.
 
On the defensive side Mahaney leads them with 333 digs and Froeschl guards the net with 75 blocks.

The Falcons continue to be red hot winning four of their five last matches. The Falcons are defensively sound as they held No. 6 Angelo State to one of their lowest hitting percentages of the year on Thursday at a .198 mark while forcing 22 errors on the night. They are 9-1 in their last 10 matches played and hold a 9-3 record in LSC play. The Falcons are the third best in DII in attacks per set with 40.38, and are 14th in NCAA DII in digs per set holding an 18.43 mark.
 
In the Falcons last match, Analise Lucio had 29 assists and 13 digs. Daylee Doggett had 17 digs and four assists. Isela Murillo had seven kills and 15 digs. Chandra Reed led with five blocks while adding nine kills. Ericka Lozano led with three service aces and Aquincia Strambler added nine kills for the Falcons.  
 
Falcon Rankings in the Lone Star Conference
 
Lucio is ranked third in assists with 621. Strambler has the second most kills with 245. Murillo is tied for eighth with 23 service aces and Doggett is second in digs tallying 339 on the season.
