UT Permian Basin Women's Soccer showed they can create scoring chances on the road against St. Mary's on Saturday. The Falcons were able to muster five shots with two of those chances coming in the last six minutes of play.
The Falcon offense had an early opportunity in the 15
th minute on a corner kick, but nothing came from it. The Falcons got right back into their offensive rhythm in the 22
nd minute as
Madi Grace Carriello took a shot, but it went wide left.
Alexandra Sanchez had the next opportunity for the Falcons netting a shot on goal, but it was saved by the Rattler keeper.
In the second half, the Falcons had a couple of chances late in the match. In the 84

Lauryn Becka took a shot and in the 90
th minute
Yareli Barrera had a chance, but both were off target. Despite the offensive pressure, the Rattlers took the 3-0 victory.
Jenna McEnaney continues to lead the Lone Star Conference in saves as she collected four of them Saturday.
