From the start UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer was on the attack firing 18 shots against Dallas Baptist. It was an evenly fought match with shots on goal, saves, corner kicks, and fouls being nearly identical.
Salvador Vargas Ramos took a free kick just outside the box and hit the left side of the net to tie the game right before half at 1-1. Vargas Ramos had a pair of shots on the night while being on the pitch for 81 of the 90 minutes.
The Falcons had multiple chances in the second half, they had 10 total shots in the half alone, but they couldn't find the net as they fell to the Patriots 3-1.
Gustavo Barroso led the Falcons with five shots.
Felipe Souza and
Matias Pereira each had three shots while
Rodrigo Rogatto had a pair of shots.
Alfonso Aragon made five saves on the night.
