For the second time this week, UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer could not settle their game in regulation. This time at St. Mary's the Falcons took one of the best in the Lone Star Conference into double overtime.
Victor Radilla got the offense rolling early as the Falcons had a chance in the second minute, but the shot fell off target to the right.
The next opportunity for the Falcons was in the 20
th minute but the shot by
Matias Pereira went over the crossbar. Neither team could find the back of the net as the half ended 0-0.
The Falcon offense had four chances in the span of four minutes starting at the 67
th minute.
Gustavo Barroso took a shot on the bottom left portion of the goal but was saved by the Rattler keeper for a corner kick. Off the corner kick

Victor Machado, and Pereira all took shots but nothing came of either of them.
Pereira once again found more chances in the 76
th minute but the Rattler keeper took them away . Machado got the last chance in regulation for the Falcons but another stop on the bottom left part of the goal turned away the opportunity as both teams ended regulation tied 0-0.
The first overtime saw one shot as both teams needed the second and final overtime. Machado took a shot in the first minute, but it was saved. The Rattlers scored the golden goal in the 105
th minute as the Falcons fall in a heart breaker 1-0.
Machado led the Falcons with two shots on goal and Pereira had the most shots with four on the day.
Alfonso Aragon had seven saves on the night.
