Scouting the Opponent
Texas A&M International won their Lone Star Conference opener on Saturday 3-0 against Dallas Baptist. The Dustdevils and Falcons tied 3-3 earlier in the season in Laredo where the Falcons were up 3-1 at the half. A first minute goal by the Dustdevils in the second half gave them the momentum before they scored another goal later to tie it.
Kristian Colaci leads the Dustdevils and the LSC in goals with 10. Colaci along with Johan Portales, Gregory Franusic, and Jacob Restrepo are tied for the team lead with two assists each. Natxo Faus leads the Dustdevils defensively with 19 saves. He has three shutouts on the season and has faced 52 total shots.
Series History
This is the 20th meeting between the two teams with the series in favor of the Dustdevils 13-4-2. Last season the Falcons stunned the Dustdevils with a goal in the final seconds to win in Laredo.
