UT Permian Basin Football reports for training camp this weekend, and Falcon fans have 12 chances to catch the team before they begin the school year.

The Falcons will hold 10 practices and a pair of scrimmages during camp over the next two weeks, all at the UTPB Turf Field and all open to the public.

"The biggest thing this fall is staying healthy and getting everyone on the same page," said head coach Justin Carrigan. "We've had a lot of changes on staff which means new ideas and schemes, philosophies and making sure everyone is together. With so many new players coming in, we need to identify as fast as we can who will be able to contribute early on."

The Falcons are scheduled to report Friday with 117 players, including 24 seniors as part of the team's first season in 2016.
