April Arellano came up big with the bases loaded as the Falcons scored four funs in the bottom of the third, but the Angelo State offense broke out with 10 unanswered runs as the #24 Belles ended the three game series with an 11-5 win over UTPB Sunday afternoon at the UTPB Softball Field.

Jessica Gonzales tied the game in the bottom of the first with a double down the line to left field to score
Alicia Marion.
Vanessa Alonzo gave the Falcons the lead in the third, singling to center to drive in Marion for a 2-1 lead.
Arelanno stepped up with a big blast later in the inning, coming to the plate with the bases loaded and driving all three home with a ball off the wall in left center field that scored
Abby Hernandez, Alonzo and
Choco Munoz to go ahead 5-1.
The Belles responded their next time at the plate, scoring six runs in the top of the fourth to go back in the lead 7-5.
Angelo State added to its advantage with three runs in the fifth and added a single run in the top of the sixth for the 11-5 win.
Marion was perfect at the top of the lineup, ending the day 2-2 with a pair of runs and two walks on the afternoon. Alonzo went 2-4 at the dish with an RBI and a run scored.
The Falcons are back home in two days, hosting McMurry Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.
