UT Permian Basin men's and women's swimming and diving picked up a combined 23 victories in 32 events Saturday morning as the Falcon women defeated Austin College 165-89, and the Falcon men won 197-79.

FINAL RESULTS

The UTPB men won both relays on the morning. Ian Ogrodnik, Jeremy Pantalion, Darren Dziergowski and William Spitz took first in the 200 Medley Relay with a winning result of 1:39.80 in the 200 Medley Relay. Nikita Naumov, Caleb Doehring, Pantalion and Spitz also won the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:31.

Armando Flores was the big winner on the day, picking up three victories in three 100 meter races. He was first in the 100 Backstroke in 56.99, won the 100 Freestyle in 50.44, and his time of 57.78 in the 100 Butterfly was best on the day.

Garrett Martin added a pair of diving wins. He scored 237.00 in 3m diving, and added a 224.90 in 1m diving.

The Falcon women also won both relays Saturday morning. Jennifer Sites, Kailen Randecker, Juliana Kikumoto Dias, and Hunter Bishop won the 200 Medley in 1:54.20. Karley Thompson, Jazmine Tscherne, Reese Delfeld and Bishop also added a win of 1:43.54.

Tscherne had two wins for the Falcons, winning the 200 Freestyle in 2:01.18, and the 200 Backstroke in 2:14.52.

Thompson won the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:00.20, and was first in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 25.26.

Amy Garland also won two events for UTPB, taking first in the 100 Breaststroke in 1:17.99 and swimming the 200 Breaststroke in 2:51.67.

The Falcons close out their fall schedule in three weeks, traveling to the Southwest Shootout in San Antonio.
