UT Permian Basin fired 13 shots and Jerry Bohi made eight saves in the second half in his first action of the season, but it wasn't enough as the Falcons fell to Oklahoma Christian 5-0.

Both offenses went back and forth early with chances but it was the visiting Eagles (4-3) who were able to capitalize first in the 23rd minute, to take the lead.  They'd get another goal in the 29th minute and send the game to the half with the Falcons (2-6, 0-3) trailing 2-0.

The Falcons came out firing in the second half, with Ollie Grundy firing back to back shots and John Karlsen missing one just high.  A 66th minute red card, put the Falcons at a disadvantage that the Eagles would take advantage of.  While the Falcons continued to push the ball, the Eagles scored three times in the second half to pull away.  Bohi made some sensational saves as the 10-man Falcons hung on.

The Falcons put up 10 shots in the second half, as opposed to the three in the first.  Bohi came in at the half for Alfonso Aragon who made two saves in the first half.  Gregory Echols had four shots for the Falcons, but just one on goal.

The Falcons are home again on Saturday as they face No. 13 Midwestern State at 1 p.m.
