Marlise Bond now sits third in the Lone Star Conference with 52 saves after stopping seven shots Thursday night at St. Edward's. It wasn't enough as the Falcon (0-8, 0-5) offense couldn't get going, falling 7-0.
The Falcon defense backed themselves in early and kept the red-hot Hilltoppers (6-4) off the board until the 24th minute. They'd add two more before the half, then adding four in more the second half . The Falcon offense couldn't get going, failing to register a shot.
The Falcons resume their road trip Saturday afternoon when they take on Angelo State at 1.
