John O'Kelley grabbed his first interception of the season, and
Chris Hoad recovered O'Kelley's fumble deep in Tarleton State territory to take it to the Tarleton 15. Two plays later,

Later in the first quarter, quarterback
Taylor Null found
Kristian Brown twice on a three-play drive, first on a 27-yard reception to start the series and then two plays later from 35 yards out down the sideline for the touchdown.
The Falcon defense stepped up big in the second half, limiting Tarleton to just three points on a field goal in the third quarter. UTPB had a pair of turnover on downs that came on fourth down goal line stops, and
Josh Terrell forced and recovered a fumble at the UTPB six-yard line to help keep the Texans out of the end zone.
Brown ended the game leading the Falcons with 77 yards on four catches
Null was 18-41 on the night passing, with one TD and an interception.
Chris Hoad led a group of four defenders that finished in double digits in tackles, recording 15 total tackles for the game.
