The UT Permian Basin women's soccer team fell to MSU Texas 3-0 despite a strong effort from the defense in Odessa.

Both defenses were rock solid in the first half with neither side able to do much of anything.  MSU only got one shot on goal while UTPB was unable to register any.

MSU struck quickly in the second half.  Just 1:34 into the half, Senna Garcia was able to fire off a shot past the keeper to give MSU the 1-0 lead.  UTPB tried to go on the attack but MSU would not budge only allowing UTPB one shot on goal for the game.  Tayler Schott would add a goal in the 72nd minute while Heather Vanderloo added another in the 87th minute for the 3-0 final.

The Falcons continue with Lone Star Conference play next week on the road against Texas A&M - Commerce on Friday.
