The UT Permian Basin men's soccer team lost its second consecutive overtime game, this time to Fort Lewis 2-1.  The game was originally scheduled to be played Saturday at 7 p.m. but was rescheduled due to weather.

Fort Lewis came out in the first half with 10 shots but the UTPB defense was up to the challenge.  UTPB struck first off a set piece.  Michael Nweke had a header knocked away off a corner to force a second one.  The second time he buried one in the corner to take the 1-0 lead which would stand until the half.

The score would stay that way until the 73:33 mark.  Ryan Lee was fed a pass in the middle just inside the eighteen to tie the game.  Fort Lewis continued to attack the UTPB net but was unable to break the tie and the game went into overtime.

Just 2:57 into overtime Lee got another pass similar to the one he scored on, and finished this one as well for the game winner and a 2-1 Fort Lewis win.

UTPB is on the road next week in Colorado as they take on Adams State on Thursday before taking on Colorado State - Pueblo on Saturday.
