Three first half goals were too much to overcome for the Falcons Thursday night as they fell to Eastern New Mexico 5-2.

The Greyhounds (5-5-1, 3-3-1) struck first just 1:02 into the game when Aderi Arthur-Dede scored from 15 yards out.  Joao Gabriel Andrade and Gabriel Peres would add goals and give the Greyhounds a 3-0 lead at the half. 

Down 4-0 in the second half, the Falcons (1-10, 0-7) found the back of the net.  Oscar Canela scored from 20 yards out on a free kick to make it 4-1.  Canela would add another from 15 yards out in the 88th minute for his second of the game, and fourth of the season.  Jameson Sato had seven saves in goal.

The Falcons head to Lubbock to take on Lubbock Christian on Saturday before coming home to continue their Heartland Conference schedule next weekend.
