UT Permian Basin women's soccer welcomed division-I Abilene Christian to Odessa Tuesday night for a non-conference match, and the Wildcats defeated the Falcons 7-1 at the UTPB Turf Field.

Lauren Marenco scored for the Falcons late in the game, shooting a sweeping shot above the ACU goalkeeper from the left side above the top of the box for her first goal of the season with just over a minute to play.

Mary Moore scored twice for Abiliene Christian, one of six Wildcats to score on the night.

UTPB is back in non-conference action this weekend, traveling to Colorado for matches against Colorado Mesa and Adams State Friday and Sunday, respectively.
