UT Permian Basin men's soccer dropped its second straight home conference game Saturday afternoon, falling 2-0 against #17 St. Edward's at the UTPB Turf Field in Odessa.
Dylan Armstrong scored his sixth goal of the season for St. Edward's 30 minutes into the match with a low hard shot from the right side to inside of the left post.
Grant Mobley added a second score in the second half, scoring at 56:39 with a break down the right side and a hard shot that just cleared underneath the cross bar.
St. Edward's out-shot the Falcons 8-5 on the afternoon, with the Hilltoppers getting three shots on goal to a pair on net for UTPB.
UTPB remains home next week, taking on Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M.
