Jordan Watson put Rogers State ahead for the second time of the day with 2:22 remaining, scoring his second of the season to break a 2-2 tie and hand UT Permian Basin men's soccer a 3-2 defeat in Heartland Conference play Saturday afternoon in Canyon, Texas.

The Falcons rallied early in the first half, scoring twice in a minute and a half to go on top 2-1. Jorge Murillo evened the game at 1-1, scoring his first of the year from in front of the Rogers State keeper at 25:36, 45 seconds after Rogers State scored the first of the day. 

Brandon Lee came up with his third of the season in four games 37 seconds later, knocking in a rebound that was loose after a saved shot for the 2-1 advantage.

UTPB held a 21-19 shot lead on the day, placing nine attempts on net to eight for Rogers State.

The Falcons remain on the road Tuesday, traveling to Hobbs, N.M., for an afternoon contest against University of the Southwest.
