Deonna Green scored her third goal of the season Sunday afternoon to level UT Permian Basin women's soccer's game at Adams State, and the two teams ended up playing to a 1-1 draw in Alamosa, Colo.
Braquelle Calley opened up the scoring in the 10th minute, clanging a shot off of the post at 9:12 to give Adams State a 1-0 lead.
Green's equalizer came shortly after in the first half when she shot past the ASU keeper at 18:47 of the first for her third of the year to pull the Falcons back even 1-1.
Those two goals would stand as the only two of the game in the draw.
Adams State led UTPB with 15 shots to 10 for the Falcons, eight coming on net for the Grizzlies to seven for UTPB. Green led the Falcons with three shots on goa and five other players recorded at least a shot on the afternoon.
UTPB is off for the next 9 days, returning to action at home Wednesday, Sept. 20 against Angelo State at the UTPB Turf Field.
