On a day where a gusty wind was blowing straight out to center field all afternoon, 16 home runs left the ballpark between UT Permian Basin and West Texas A&M as the Lady Buffs took a pair of 17-3 and 15- wins over the Falcons Saturday afternoon in Odessa.

Cindy Juarez got the falcons on the board in the bottom of the second inning, blasting a home run deep off the scoreboard in left center field. 

Daisy Aguilar later added a pair of runs on a single into center field with runners on second and third, driving in both Jessica Gonzalez and Juarez.

Adriana Berzoza homered in the fourth inning of game two, a contest where all 16 runs scored in the game were by way of the long ball as the Lady Buffs hit eight balls over the fence.

UTPB is back on the road next weekend, traveling to Silver CIty, N.M. for a three-game set at Western New Mexico.
