Tarleton State Scores Late to Down Falcons 6-2

UT Permian Basin came back in the bottom of the sixth to tie Friday's opening game of the weekend 2-2, but Tarleton State scored four runs in the top of the 7th for a 6-2 win at the UTPB Softball Field.

Cindy Juarez came up huge for the Falcons in the sixth inning, driving a blast over the wall in center field for her ninth home run of the season to tie the game late at 2-2.

The TexAnns came back with six hits in the top of the seventh to score runs on four different hits to take the win.

Daisy Aguilar led the Falcons with a 2-4 day at the plate, scoring a run on the night.

The teams are back to close out the weekend Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
