Lubbock Christian out-scored UT Permian Basin women's basketball 46-20 after halftime as the Lady Chaps took a 72-34 win over the Falcons Saturday night to close out the weekend's action in Lubbock, Texas.

LCU held the Falcons under 20 percent shooting on the night as UTPB hit just 13-69 of its field goal attempts and 4-26 from 3-point range.

Khali Pippins-Tyron led UTPB with seven points as 10 different Falcons scored Saturday night.

Tess Bruffey paced LCU with 15 points and 11 rebounds, both team highs.

UTPB is back on the road Monday night, traveling to Austin, Texas for a 6 p.m. non-conference game at St. Edward's.
