Playing for the second straight day and its third game in four days, UT Permian Basin women's basketball won for the second time in the week with a 99-69 victory over Arlington Baptist in the UTPB Gym Sunday afternoon.
Sierra LaGrande had her second best game of the season and hit a season-high beyond the 3-point line, connecting on 7-9 from behind the arc to lead the Falcons with 23 points on 8-10 shooting on the afternoon.
UTPB shot its third-best percentage from 3-point range on the season as a team, hitting 17-40 attempts (42.5 percent).
Briana Caro and 
Nakedra Burke each scored in double figures with 14 points; Burke grabbed her first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds, tying her season high, and the Falcons out-rebounded the Patriots on the day 56-36 with 23 offensive rebounds.
Victoria Lopez led the Falcons and all players with seven assists on the afternoon.
UTPB is back in action in Lone Star Conference play to start the coming week, hosting West Texas A&M Tuesday night at 5:30.
