UT-Permian Baseball was held scoreless over the first eight innings Thursday night against #9 Lubbock Christian and the Chaps put up four runs in two different innings as the Falcons suffered a 10-2 loss in non-conference action in Lubbock, Texas.
The Falcons scratched two runs across the plate in the top of the ninth, scoring their first of the game when
Tyler Houlihan hit a bases loaded infield single to first that moved the runners up 90 feet to score
David Fetkenher. A balk later in the inning allowed
Mike Fernandez to score.
Lubbock Christian more than doubled up the Falcons seven hits with 15 of their own and put together four-run frams in the bottom of the fourth and in its final trip to the plate in the eighth.
