UTPB Football to Hold Spring Game at Ratliff Stadium April 8

UT-Permian Basin Football will hold its first ever spring football game Friday, April 8th at 6 p.m. at its new home, Ratliff Stadium.

The Falcons will take to the turf at Ratliff Stadium for the first time in a four quarter game between two teams with 15-minute running clock quarters.

Next Friday's game will conclude the team's first month-long spring practice session. All the action is free and open to the public. Gates to the stadium will open at 5 p.m.

Only the west side of the stadium will be used for seating. Seating is first come, first served. There will be no special seating for the scrimmage. Only athletic department staff, the athletes, cheer, dance and the mascot will be allowed on the field.

Tailgating will be allowed beginning at 12 p.m. in Ratliff's  WEST parking lot. Entrance may be made through Ratliff's north gate. Alcohol will not be allowed as Ratliff is an Ector County ISD facility.

The Lion's Club will be selling concessions inside the stadium.

Jumpers will be available for kids from 4:00 until 6:00 near the west entrance to the stadium. In the same area, the UTPB Alumni association will have a tent. Season tickets will be sold in the tent adjacent to it.
