Trailing 3-0, UT-Permian Basin softball out-scored Oklahoma Panhandle State 9-1 in the final two innings, including scoring seven runs after entering the last inning down two to score a 9-4 win in the first game of the weekend against the Aggies. OPSU came back to take game two 9-1 after scoring seven runs in the bottom of the second.
JJ Von Oesen and 
Daisy Aguilar drove in the team's first two runs in the top of the sixth to pull UTPB within 4-2.
Ashlynn Williams scored 
TeAnna Edman-Rowe to pull within one, and 
Adrianna Berzoza hit a two-run single that scored 
Ashlynn Williams and 
Melissa Zuniga to take a 5-4 lead. Berzoza scored on an error, and Aguilar came through with a 3-run home run for the 9-4 lead.
Aguilar ended the game 3-4 on the day at the plate, leading the Falcons with four RBI.
UTPB scored first in game two, taking a 1-0 lead when 
Cyera Quintana grounded out to second to score 
Chelsae Faries from third.
The lead would be short lived as the Aggies scored seven runs in the second, inclding a pair on a two-run home run.
UTPB looks to take the series Saturday afternoon when the teams play the third and final game of the weekend at noon.
