Box Score UT-Permian Basin softball scored first in its attempt to win this weekend's series against Oklahoma Panhandle State, but the Aggies shut out the Falcons over the final six innings and grabbed a pair in the fourth to defeat UTPB 2-1 Saturday afternoon in Goodwell, Okla.

Adrianna Berzoza grabbed the first run of the day in the first inning, driving in Melissa Zuniga on a double down the line into right field with one out for a 1-0 advantage.

Oklahoma Panhandle State tied the game on an infield single to shortstop with a pair on base, and took the lead later in the inning on a sacrifice fly to center.

Randi May pitched all six innings for the Falcons, allowing two runs, only one of them earned, off of five hits with a pair of walks.
