UT Permian Basin volleyball wrapped up a five-game homestand Saturday afternoon, suffering a 16-25, 17-25, 16-25, three-set loss to Western New Mexico.
Rachel Dixon led the Falcons with six kills on the afternoon.
Mallory Nicholson tied for the match high with 15 assists, while
Sarah Vasquez led all UTPB players with 11 digs.
Heather Verrill led the match with 11 kills for Western New Mexico and Ashley Mataele had a day high 12 digs and Melanie Hughes led the Mustangs with 15 assists.
UTPB is back on the road this coming week, taking on Lubbock Christian in non-conference action Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in Lubbock.
