West Texas A&M sent UTPB men's soccer to a 3-2 loss behind a 22-7 shot differential Wednesday night in Canyon, Texas.
The Falcons answered the Buffs two different times in the first half, tying the game two different times on
BJ Rodrick's first goal of the season at 25:10 and evening the score at 2-2 when
Nathan Cotterell scored his fourth of the season at 36:32 fpr the fourth goal of the first period.
West Texas A&M took the lead for the third and final time on the night when Tom Cowling scored his second of the season off of a free kick at 59:34.
WTAMU placed 13 shots on net as UTPB goalkeeper
Justin Bryant stopped 10 shots on the night, while both of the Falcons' shots on goal went in for scores.
The Falcons are back on the road next week, traveling to Abilene for a non-conference game at McMurry next Tuesday night.
