Box Score UTPB men's soccer was unable to hold off Wayland Baptist Monday night, conceeding a second half goal in a 1-0 loss on the road in Plainview, Texas.

The Falcons and Pioneers matched shot totals in the first half wih four each, but Wayland Baptist turned up the pressure, taking 17 attempts to just two for UTPB. Emmanuel Emmas made it count in the 53rd minute, scoring his fourth goal of the season at 52:22 in what ended up being the game-winner.

The Falcons had a hear scoring chance in the early minutes when Nathan Cotterell hit the woodwork for the second straight match, striking the post on a shot attempt at 8:40 of the first half.

The Falcons stay on the road this week, taking on West Texas A&M Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Canyon.
