UTPB women's basketball returned to action Thursday night following its winter break, sufferin a 66-53 loss on the road against Rogers State in Claremore, Okla.
Both teams struggled to find their shots on the day, as the Falcons hit only 37 percent of their attempts from the field and Rogers State connected on just 39 percent of its field goals on the afternoon.
Victoria Lopez paced the UTPB offense, scoring 11 points off the bench with a 5-6 night from the free throw line and hitting three field goals as six different Falcons scored at least six points. 
Jau'nae Peevy added 12 rebounds on the day, while Khadijiah Vigil had eight points and seven rebounds.
Kami Bunch led all scorers on the day with 17 points for the Hillcats. Rachel Block added 14 points for Rogers State.
The Falcons stay on the road this weekend, traveling to Fort Smith, Ark., for a Saturday afternoon contest at UA Fort Smith.
