Rafaela Moreira scored his second goal of the season and carried the UTPB Men's Soccer team to a 1-0 win over St. Mary's in Heartland Conference action Saturday afternoon at the UTPB Soccer Field.

UTPB scored off a free kick in the 74th minute whe Cesar Cid kicked from 30 yards out on the right and Moreira volleyed into the net to break what had been a scoreless tie at 73:19.

The Falcons held the Rattlers scoreless despite St. Mary's recording 13 shots to nine for UTPB, but the Falcons put three shots on goal to just one for St. Mary's.

The win gives UTPB goalkeeper Justin Bryant his second clean sheet of the season in nine starts.

UTPB stays at home next week, hosting Oklahoma Christian Thursday night at 5 p.m.
