Box Score West Texas A&M scored twice in each half in sending UTPB women's soccer to a 4-0 defeat Saturday afternoon in Canyon, Texas.

Emily Krenek scored twice in under a minute for the Lady Buffs. She got the first goal of the game at 15:59 and added her second of the year 49 seconds later, both assisted by Karyn Forbes.

West Texas A&M tacked on two more scores after halftime. A UTPB own-goal in the 70th minute gave the Lady Buffs a 3-0 lead and Rhea Belgrave added a fourth score at 74:48.

Mallory Martin led the Falcons with a pair of shot attempts on net with UTPB also getting shots on goal from Alyssa Eich and McKinna Micheal.

UTPB is back in action Thursday night, traveling to Portales, N.M., for a 2 p.m. game at Eastern New Mexico.
