Box Score Kyle Baccus scored early in the first half for #18 Midwestern State and Thomas Parides scored a hat trick off the bench as UTPB men's soccer suffered a 4-0 loss Thursday night at the UTPB soccer field.

Baccus put the Mustangs on the scoreboard with his first goal of the season 11 minutes into the first half for a 1-0 lead.

Parides later scored his first of the season with a little over four minutes remaining in the half. He added a pair of goals midway through the second half for his second and third of the season.

Midwestern State out-shot the Falcons 21-11 on the night, holding an 8-4 shot on goal lead.

UTPB enters conference action this coming week, traveling to Lubbock, Texas to open its Heartland Conference schedule at Lubbock Christian Monday at 2:30 p.m.
