Ozzie Bueno and Trey Cochran hit game-winning base hits in extra innings to help UTPB baseball to a pair of 3-2 and 1-0 wins Friday afternoon against Oklahoma Panhandle State at Roden Field in Odessa, Texas.

Bueno came through with in the bottom of the ninth for the Falcons in game one, hitting a fly ball that dropped behind the short stop in left center to allow MIke Briseno to score from second base for the game-winning run.

Cochran ended the day with a double to the corner in left field to drive home Bueno from first to wrap up the team's second win of the day in the only run of the game in a 1-0 victory.

Both starting pitchers for UTPB went the distance Friday. Nick Duffield struck out 11 in game one, allowing a pair of earned runs off of four hits while walking none in nine innings of work. Jacob Ricossa earned a complete game shut out in game two, giving up two hits and four walks to go with seven strike outs.

UTPB concludes the 2013 season Saturday with two more games against the Aggies. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.
