The University of Texas of the Permian Basin women's basketball team wrapped up its 2012-13 regular season home schedule with a 64-40 win over McMurry Saturday afternoon in Odessa, Texas. The victory gives UTPB a perfect 11-0 record at home in the 2012-13 season.

Clarissa Davis and Ashley Villarreal in a post-game ceremonies thanking the players and their families.
UTPB began to pull away after the game was close in the opening minutes as
Giselle Loya put the Falcons up 18-11 with 12:47 left in the first half.
They led by 13 six minutes later off of a pair of
Clarissa Davis free throws and a layin from
Taniqua Ards.
The Falcons scored six straight to go into halftime leading by 14, taking momentum into the break as Loya hit another shot from deep,
Teisha King hit the first of a pair of free throws and
Briannah Matthews connected on two attempts from the line.
UTPB kept up the offensive intensity in the second half, scoring 10 straight points to lead by 24 with 12:45 remaining.
The Falcons never led by fewer than 18 points over the remainder of the eventual 24-point win.
Ards led UTPB in scoring for the second straight game, totaling 19 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Davis added 10 points on 6-of-6 shooting from the line while also grabbing eight boards and
Briannah Matthews led the team with 11 rebounds.
McMurry was held scoreless on the day behind the 3-point line, missing all 20 of its attempts from long range in the game.
The Falcons hit the road next weekend to close out the regular season at Oklahoma Christian, but will return home in two weeks as hosts and #1 seed of the 2013 Heartland Conference Women's Basketball Championships.
