UTPB volleyball's 2013 came to a close Saturday afternoon as the Falcons dropped their final match of the season 25-22, 25-22, 25-22 at home against St. Edward's.

The Falcons honored the careers of their four seniors in a pre-game ceremony as Ariel Fralick, Melissa Lusk, Terra Peil and Keeley Brogdon each played in their final collegiate match at UTPB.

The Falcons led early on by at least two points in each set and three points in the first and third sets, but struggled to keep the Hilltoppers at bay as each set wound to a close, as St. Edward's scored six of the last eight points in the first, seven of the last nine in the second, and five of the last six in the third.

Brogdon led the Falcons with 10 kills on the afternoon, with Ryley Carman adding eight and Peil contributing seven. Fralick had 20 assists to lead UTPB, and Taylor Harmon ended the match with 19 kills.
