Jacob Ricossa pitched seven shutout innings, allowing just three hits while striking out six to stifle Texas A&M International as the Falcons won the third and final game of the series 3-0.

Ricossa tossed 5.1 no-hit innings before Will Wurth broke up the gem with a single to left field.

The UTPB offense helped Ricossa by scoring a run in the bottom of the first when Brian Brademan hit a sacrifice fly to left to score Ryne Head, who reached on a one-out single through the left side.  Brademan drove in two of the Falcons' three runs on the day after hitting an RBI single in the seventh for his only hit of the day.

The Falcons finished with nine hits on the day, three of which came from Arturo Carrera and two from Head, who also scored two runs.

Fabian Rivera gave the Falcons a 2-0 lead in the sixth with an RBI single to right center to score Carrera, who led off the inning with a single down the right line.  UTPB picked up three hits in the frame before adding a third run in the seventh thanks to two more hits.

Jeff Fisher-Gasper pitched the final 1.1 innings where he gave up a single hit to garner his second save of the season.  UTPB improved to 7-19 on the year and 6-15 in Heartland Conference play and have won three-straight games for the first time this season.  The Falcons have also been victorious in five of their last seven games.

UTPB will be back in action on Wednesday when it hosts the University of the Southwest for a double header at Roden Field at 3 p.m.
