In the first game, Tanor Tinley picked up one of the Falcons' eight hits and drove in two of the three runs which was enough for starter Kyle Cormier who tossed five scoreless innings while giving up five hits and striking out four.

Tinley hit a sacrifice fly to right in the fourth inning to plate Travis Wilcox, who singled.  Arturo Carerra led off the frame by reaching on an error and would later come around to score on a Brian Brademan single.

Leading 2-0, Tinley came through again in the sixth with an RBI single to drive in Fabian Rivera, who reached on a two-out single.

Mike Briseno and Brademan picked up two hits each in the win while Daniel Bernal pitched the final two innings for his first save of the year.

In the second game, Tinley picked up two more hits and drove in another run while Ryne Head drove in two runs.  Head walked with the bases loaded in the fourth to break a scoreless tie before the Falcons busted out for four more runs in the seventh.

Briseno and Hugo Hernandez  reached on back-to-back walks to open the fourth.  They would steal second and third before Carrera reached on an error to plate Briseno, giving UTPB a 2-0 lead.  Brademan made it 3-0 after getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded before Tinley picked up his third RBI of the day with a bunt single to score Carrera.  Head would later drive in Wilcox after grounding out to third base.

UTPB starter Casey Rana went 2.1 innings where he gave up just two hits, while Isaac Diaz picked up the win after throwing 3.2 innings where he struck out four while giving up three hits.  Jeff Fisher-Gasper threw the final two innings to pick up the save.
