The Falcons and Lobos square off at 7 p.m. as they are looking to win their second-straight.  UTPB is currently 5-4 and have won four of its last five matches, including a first-ever victory over Abilene Christian at the Angelo State Invitational.  There, the Falcons went 3-1 and were only one of three teams in the eight-team field to drop one game or less. 

Sophomore Melissa Lusk was named to the all-tournament team after tallying 43 kills and six blocks in the four matches.  Danae Eckart was honored by the Heartland Conference this week as she was named the league's Libero of the Week for her efforts in the back row.  In five matches last week, she picked up 89 digs, including 29 against Abilene Christian and averaged 5.24 per set.
